one month passes...
Or, are there any books that you really liked which are no longer in print? And is there anything that can be done about it?

Just to get things started, for me it was Reform or Revolution by Rosa Luxemburg.

(and i know it says you can find it on Amazon, but if you order it they won't have it)

Like a zillion books of poetry from the 1970s. Some of them are available online, but it's not the same.

Birchwood by John Banville. Several AL Kennedy and Jonathan Coe books not in pring in America. Several books by JG Farrell.

You can write to the publishers that specialize in reprints, like Archipelago, NYRB, Dalkey, etc and request them. They really do listen to you and do their best.

Cassandra, by Christa Wolf. (Well, it may not be great but I sure as hell couldn't get it when I needed it.)

Library law no 177745: If it's a good book, it's out of stock. If it's an excellent book, it's out of print.

I want to read that too Archel! I read about it somewhere, it seemed awesomeness.
