hi everyone
in a newspaper (here in switzerland) i read an article about 25-word-summaries of famous books on this website.
i couldn't find 'em yet ... help please!

I believe the guy they refer to as 'Well Hung' started it, then later regretted it. He lives somewhere in Hackney, the Malibu of London.

This book summary thread was how I first found ILX. I received an e-mail that had been forwarded around (like those stupid jokes everyone gets), and it had some of the postings. I thought the summary for Portnoy's Complaint was heeelarious, so I searched for this message board. I don't post very often, but I've been reading everyone elses posts for the last six months or so. Thanks for entertaining me.

always wanted to read dostojewski or tolstoi, but were terrified by the 1000 or more pages? help is on the way, these guys on 'i love books' dont even stop at summarising the bible or lord of the rings.
