As you may have noticed, ILX has been a little under the weather lately. Apparently, it's fixed now, but the last 17 days of posts are gone for good. Hope the downtime hasn't scared anyone away. Hey, I started a blog during all the confusion and wrote a lot and read and...well, sometimes a little break can be healthy is all. Let me wish a belated birthday again to ILB (Dec.17) as the other thread I started seems to be gone with the wind and wish a happy holiday season to everyone! I'll be gone for Christmas until the 30th (Eugene, Oregon. A mere 3000+ miles away) and I'll cross my fingers that ILX stays healthy. Don't know what my computer situation will be out there. Hope everyone gets lots of books for Christmas. I am semi-published this holiday season as I contributed a bunch of entries to the new Rolling Stone Album Guide (I'm giving one to my mother-in-law.). Anyway, have fun! Don't drink too much! (Unless your family or circumstances requires it.)

Um, where's Scott's blog? I know nothing about these things.

Anyway, happy birthday ILB. And happy christmas to Scott. I'm off out tonight for my one big night of drinking. Really looking forward to it too. Not looking forward to the trudge home from the train afterwards.

Happy birthday ILB! You sure are a cute baby.

Hope you have a great Christmas Scott, and everyone else if that's your winter holiday of choice. I'm looking forward to two weeks off work and lots of reading therein! (As well as eating and boozing, of course.)
