Seems that Amazon have decided that my wee book isn't a 'hard to find item' any more so if you buy it there is no more £1.99 surcharge hurrah. Also you can buy a 'used' copy haha for a mere £3.46.

Ann Sterzinger (Ann Sterzinger), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 20:39 (twenty years ago)

Order from amazon.uk, feel international!

Casuistry (Chris P), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 22:30 (twenty years ago)

Where can I download the PDF?

Casuistry (Chris P), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 22:30 (twenty years ago)

Doesn't shipping here from Amazon.uk cost a mint tho'?

Ann Sterzinger (Ann Sterzinger), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 03:23 (twenty years ago)

nice cover.

scout (scout), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 06:57 (twenty years ago)

If you're really keen Ann you can bypass Amazon and order direct from the publisher (http://www.frogmorepress.co.uk). I expect shipping is still pricey though; not sure how they deal with international orders.

PDF, Casuistry? Poems for nothing and your chicks for free? I think not ;)

There's some older stuff - with some overlap - at www.angelfire.com/poetry/playforth though.

Archel (Archel), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 09:18 (twenty years ago)

The Pinefox's book has just gone up in price on Amazon. I know because it's on my wish list. So is Archel's as of now.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 12:18 (twenty years ago)

what's the pinefox's book???

j-hoov, Wednesday, 9 March 2005 14:37 (twenty years ago)

Boo that seems unfair, I'm pretty sure the demand for PF's is higher than for mine...

Archel (Archel), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 14:57 (twenty years ago)

Is the pinefox gonna be happy with that link being there?

Ken L (Ken L), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 16:20 (twenty years ago)

We'll just have to wait and see. I hope he is not upset because it is my fault again. I feel like Gaylord off Dick Emery. Apparently there are two FoxFolios in the shops now.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 16:54 (twenty years ago)

[murmurs to self] I will not stalk the pinefox... I must not stalk the pinefox...

Aimless (Aimless), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 16:58 (twenty years ago)

Oh whoops. I thought it was all over ILE anyway? Shall I asked for it be deleted?

I didn't realize he had a book! The cunning little fox.

Casuistry (Chris P), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 19:22 (twenty years ago)

You'd have to be a lunatic to complain about someone publicising your book to fans of books who are well disposed towards you!

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 20:28 (twenty years ago)

Speaking stictly for what (&*#$(&#&(*$&(*#&$*( coworkers generally think of myself, like attracts like...

Ann Sterzinger (Ann Sterzinger), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 21:18 (twenty years ago)

Anyway I guess I'll go with Amazonuk anyway since postage plus writing to ask how much the postage is = more expensive anyway and a pain in my butt.

Ann Sterzinger (Ann Sterzinger), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 21:25 (twenty years ago)

The Archel book is very good, waverer-types! I dunno if that is useful but it is true. I WANT MY SURCHARGE BACK YOU BASTARDS.

Ann, surely you could send money to Archel and she could mail you the book for cheaper than that!

Casuistry (Chris P), Thursday, 10 March 2005 09:20 (twenty years ago)

He is a lunatic.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Thursday, 10 March 2005 13:41 (twenty years ago)

I fear I must conclude that PF hates me since he (apparently) hasn't read this thread? :(

Word from publisher is that shipping to US c. $10. But, you know, read the website instead, I don't mind :)

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 10 March 2005 17:46 (twenty years ago)

Casuistry (Chris P), Thursday, 10 March 2005 21:46 (twenty years ago)

Markelby (Mark C), Friday, 29 April 2005 12:01 (twenty years ago)

Justin Breastplate didn't have much to say about the authors of those books. They sound dead brainy though.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Friday, 29 April 2005 13:56 (twenty years ago)

Request for change of board name to "I Love Brooks."
