Hari Kunzru thoughts?

I've just finished reading "the impressionist" and I must say that I enjoyed it very much. I like the episodic nature of the plot (the chameleon-like main character assumes different identities throughout the novel in order to mix with different crowds and "fit in"). I love the way Kunzru depicted his character: he's got a past(and an adventurous one at that) but he doesn't have a personality, he merely absorbs that of those who surround him. (and he feels empty because the people he's imitating are shallow). Anyway, did you enjoy the book as much as I did?

I've actually only read "Transmission". I found it fairly entertaining, easy to read but on the whole a little empty considering the magnitude of the main plot device (I shouldn't reveal what it is even though it says on the back). It didn't particularly make me want to read anything else by him.
