Atttention any NW based ILbers!

As part of the Poetry in the City event poet, author and all round good egg Allen Fisher will be reading at the Walker art gallery, Liverpool at 2.30 p.m. Admission is free, poets reading in support include myself and Robert Sheppard.

If any of you could make it along it would be beyond awesome. It's also distinctly possible that the Liverpool pubs could be toured afterwards, if you need any further incentive.

Whoops, should mention that's 2.30 on Sunday the 10th of April.

I am in the wrong NW. I weep from an excess of self-pity, not being able to follow my heart upon the path of awesomeness-added to said reading. Knock them dead, Matt. Then pour raw brandy down their throats and revive them. Make them your playthings.

You've clearly been to one of my readings before.

I was going to say. People in the actual NW might want to check out a poetry reading happening at PSU on Monday. Josh Corey and someone else whose name eludes me. And all kinds of crazy stuff seems to be happening in Seattle this weekend. Oh, and there's one that I helped organize at the Ptld Art Center on Wednesday. But I won't be in town for that, sadly. Lots of poetry in the NW.

But give 'em hell, Matt.
