Articles on book-filesharing?

I am writing an article on filesharing of books and copies being spread before the release date and so on, does any one know how widespread this is (compared to other forms of media it is of course very small) and has anything interesting been written about it here or on other blogs?

There was Mason & Dixon and there was that Salinger thing, and that's all the text I can remember "leaking". But other than news articles from those instances, I can't remember reading anything about it.
