I've only read his first two. I remember liking Home at the End of the World a lot, especially the third chapter, which was published as a free-standing short story. Flesh and Blood has some terrific writing, but I felt like his sympathies were clearly skewed in favor of the gay male character coming of age, which, for me, spoiled the family saga element of the book.
