Check out whatshouldireadnext.com It's kinda fun. Costs nothing to register. You put in author/title and it comes up with other books you might like. I put in Jonathan Safran Foer and Everything is Illuminated and got: Writing Down the Bones (which I already have and love); Wintering; Herland; Acquainted with the Night: Excursions through the world after dark; Don't move; and a couple of poetry books by Sylvia Plath and Charles Bukowski. I looked them up on Amazon and they seemed interesting. I'll probably read them.

I put in Perec's "W, or the Memory of Childhood" and it came up with... nothing. So I put in Federman's "Double or Nothing" and it came up with... nothing. So I put in the book I'm reading now, Herodotus's "Histories", and its first suggestion is "La Loba De Francia - Maurice Druon", which is a book that was published in Spanish and doesn't seem to be translated.

Apparantly reading an English translation of Herodotus implies that one can read Spanish.
