An acquaintance told me she created a screenname for this website using my real name without my permission. I do not want the postings under this screenname to be linked to my name and would also like to request that she not be able to use this screenname for future postings. The screenname is "-----------------------". Can you please remove all postings written under this screenname and see that future postings will not be permitted? I asked my acquaintance to do this herself but she never did. Thank you for your help.

She didn't do it because it's not possible to remove your own posts.

I removed the references from ILE and ILM, replaced most of the name with blanks. I'm not sure if I find this thing dubious, but there were about 20 total, and they're all from over a year ago, so whatever.

Thanks. I really appreciate it. Is it also possible to remove the references from the board pages showing the list of threads? Sorry to bug.

I'm not sure what you mean, actually.

The names have been scrubbed from the actual posts, but not from the boards showing the listing of postings (ie the I Love Music board). Thanks a lot.

I think she means the new questions list?

well if she does, then she's wrong because the names aren't appearing there either. they do still appear in search, but that's because the changes haven't been propagated.
