I like the embeds because I can see relevant tweets without having to actually visit Twitter. I almost never clickthrough on the embeds posted here and when I do they are usually broken these days anyway. If we switch to all links, I'd have to go to the actual website more, which I am trying to avoid.

sorry i see what you're saying forks and i'm sympathetic to any Fuck Musk argument but i think Twitter is bigger than that douche and the embeds are a more convenient option than an unembedded link

I can see them on Chrome (on a PC).
On the Flagging app, they appear as text in the thread, but if I click on them, the full tweet are visible in the app (without going out to Twitter). I'm pretty sure that's the way it's always been with Flagging though.
