Post showing in new answers but not inside its thread

In the what the fuck is happening in Russia thread, the most recent post is by peace, man from four hours ago

But when I click on the thread the most recent post is by Noodle Vague from a day ago

I don't use a killfile and don't have anyone blocked. And its the same whether I'm logged in or out

I've just seen the Mod Request thread, the post was apparently requested to be removed and was then removed, but still shows in new answers. Mystery solved
