IP ban at Glasgow University?

Hola admins,

Trying to get to ILX from glasgow uni results in "You do not have permission to access / on this server". Has the whole place been IP banned? Was it AlexT's fault?

Yep, I tried with both types. The last line says that Apache at ilx.wh3rd.net is responsible.

Madchen says there was a spammer coming from the Glasgow Uni IP a while back -- related?

10/10. It's b/c of "bato", persistent tedious obnoxious nuisance/creep inc "i haet teh britishes fags lol" schtick posted from glasgow uni, wtf. Ignorable until it went batshit with the "hen fap" thing a month or so ago, & I banned one of its IPs and I think Teeny banned the other.

IPs get banned quite a lot! Very nearly all of the banned IPs are persistent spambots.

Is, was, who the fuck knows. I note a complete lack of its obsessive pointless bitchery since those IPs got banned. If anyone can think of a way to get jed's other half & stet in w/o opening the gates to it, that would be great, obviously.
