Tried to change my screenname in Settings, got this. FYI.

There does seem to be some kind of character limit now, though. My whole 30 Rock quote wouldn't fit. So "Live ever week like it's Shark Week" is a no-go, but the less accurate "every week is Shark Week" works just fine.

I'm trying to tick the "Username/Info page link" box, but when I click on the "Save" button, I get the "Name lookup failed" return.

this still isn't working for me (bumping it here instead of on the thread I originally mentioned it on). Neither changing my screen name nor changing my personal URL, both got "Name Lookup Failed." This HAS worked before though, I was surprised to see it again.

Are you trying to put a ' in the name? It won't let you do that, but the error message is "name lookup failed".
