I put a note on it saying basically unless you're going to contribute to the forum in some way, this is spam. I also locked the thread, which possibly is overreacting, I dunno. Thoughts? (I, or another mod could always unlock it) I don't want to see ilx used for hit and run marketing.

I don't think they're doing it for new answers reasons; they've been doing it a lot on a lot of other threads (not always ones they started) and just conversing back and forth with themselves. (he she it whatever) If it was inflammatory I'd think it was a troll. As it is, it's just weird.
