copy pasting this url: http://www.ilxor.com/ILX/ThreadSelectedControllerServlet?boardid=41&threadid=56905 loads a thread with no messages

That's a deleted thread, lfam. (if you go to Recent Questions on ILM, the thread IDs jump from 56904 to 56906)

okay

now what about the first error?

Why would you type http://www.ilxor.com/ILX/NewAnswersControllerServlet?boardid=60 into your address bar?

(I can't reproduce that error, I always reach the Noize bored, even when I typed it just now - maybe a typo when you tried it?)

A few times before you made that first post there are some errors in the logs with
http://www.ilxor.com/ILX/http://www.ilxor.com/ILX/NewAnswersControllerServlet?boardid=60
could your browser have been autocompleting while you were typing and you didn't notice?

stanm: i typed "ilx" to autocomplete, but it gave me boardid=41 so i manually altered it to read boardid=60. after it happened the first time i checked the spelling very thoroughly and it matched the link i got when clicking on the noise board hyperlink.

stet: hmm it's likely that those log entries are me, but i triple checked the url, and i would have noticed the difference in length. that's how i always start my comparisons of code/computer things like that. but my browser or my router may have just been fucking up momentarily. i don't know.
