Stop locking threads without addressing the issue.

Say "fixed" and leave the thread open in case the issue happens again. Also we will know which mod performed which operation since there is no admin log anymore. This mystery modding is going to become a problem wiht users of the board if it persists.

I agree with this fwiw. I don't see any reason why they can't be locked after the mod's responded though?

I don't have the power to lock ModReq threads, but I'm assuming the reason it's happening is to avoid them turning into general in-joke/zingfests and getting in the way of actual requests, but I can't be sure.

because then if an issue recurs, people have to start a new thread. i understand wanting to avoid massive bitchfests, but it seems as though if people want a bitchfest they will start another thread anyway, right?
