I think in fixing that you made:

quoted things have this crazy indentation

where they didnt after the last update.

I asked for that. It's not crazy indentation though; it's the default way of marking up <blockquote> in every web browser. All they've done is _remove_ the thing that was overriding it in the stylesheet.

I'm pretty sure this is how it worked on old-ILX, but you saw fewer properly marked-up quotes because the poster had to know the HTML to do is (<blockquote>the quote</blockquote>). Mostly then (and now) people just did <i></i>.
