Just for the record, I don't suffer from Asperger syndrome (as far as I know). Multiple Sclerosis, on the other hand, yes--diagnosed in 1996, if you must know. AS, no. But thanks for the kind words, Dom. Keep up the good work.

While I agree that the "aspie" thing is a bit stupid and tiresome, I'm not really sure what could actually be effectively done about it TBH. I haven't seen any other complaints about it, and have no idea how people feel about the use of the term generally. I encourage you (and any other poster bothered by someone being an asshole) to try using this:

I complained about it because I personally find it offensive and ignorant in the extreme--hence my mentioning that I happen to suffer from MS: ie, if you're going to insult me, fine, but at least make sure you have your facts straight. Truth in advertising and all that implies, in other words.
