HTTP Status 408

Hi, I am getting this message whenever I try to post on Internet Explorer today. (I'm currently posting in Firefox, but it's slow as fuck on my work computer so I generally use IE.)

HTTP Status 408 - The time allowed for the login process has been exceeded. If you wish to continue you must either click back twice and re-click the link you requested or close and re-open your browser

(It asks me to log-in first, as per usual when I open the browser for the first time.) Any help?

This might be moot now that I have downloaded new version of Firefox and it seems pretty fast.

Good... Because I've been having a look and can't see any reason why it should happen, barring some problem particular to your machine/network provider.
