Okay, so if I read a thread through, and go away, and later on the thread gets new messages, when I click it, I go to the last message I read. Which is great. But this doesn't seem to work if the the thread gets more than 200 messages, and my last read message is buried under the "show all messages" link. Would it be impossible to always return to the last read message, even if it's under that link?

Have you tried changing the resolution settings on your monitor?

Bookmarks are sort-of of a way around that. If you click the "Bookmark" link on a post, it'll remember it. Then, in Preferences, you can set the bookmarks to show at the top of every page. They get marked with a red star if the thread has updated, and clicking on them takes you right back to the original post.
