every time i choose one and click vote i get kicked over to jed's architecture thread 10(+) architects I have been thinking about and my vote goes unrecorded.

can anyone else confirm they're having this problem?

anyway we can't fix it since polls aren't really editable even by sitewide mods. the last option in the poll is linked straight through the buttons so anything you click on there is going to take you to that thread.

moral of story: don't put links as poll options

in retrospect it was never going to be a fair reflection of worth. maybe i'll organise a ranking-system secret-email thingybob where you give a certain number of points to each of your top ten.

that would kinda take forever, though, and worse, it would apply statistical value to what was once just a gut feeling. maybe we're just better off without attempting to find an objective high-point.
