Could you give a bit more detail as to what's actually on there? I'm not about to go clicking that thread now in order to delete an individual post but I can nuke the whole thread if it's going to be really harmful.

I clicked on the link and it resized the browser, opened Outlook, played a lol-esque voice wav, popped up a bunch of windows. I was kinda busy shutting it all down but that gives you the general idea.

Amid all that, did you see anything even remotely related to the Soulseek story in question? If not, the user in question is getting banned.

To be honest no I didn't see any news story at all. But I don't think it was a malicious thing, it was just a bit omgwtf for a minute.
