why do the images in polls disappear after the poll closes

I don't have time right now to check, does your CSS fix above actually work? link to a couple of image polls where you tried it and it worked if you can

the pollcell class CSS and the page image CSS must be interfering. one last question if you can be bothered, does it appear to be the same across the different site styles?

i couldn't find the pollcell or poll row classes, they're not on the main stylesheet. i'll try the other styles

it does it on all of the other stylesheets in preferences. disabling the img tag's max-width style fixes it on each of them

when I have nothing else to deal with tomorrow I'll figure out how to fix it in all the style sheets and tell stet to upload new versions

You use firebug right?

i use web developer toolbar which i believe was recommended on some thread by tombot many moons ago

Yep, uploaded them and they seem to be working. Also whacked up an early draft of an iPhone sheet, which makes site a bit easier to use -- comment box is right size, and zooming works.
