I have completely changed sides on the registration issue. That said, the spammer in question *IS* registered, so that did nothing. What he needs is a yellow card and to be told to cease and desist.

No, some random person surfed into ILX and revived about 50 random threads all in a row, with just the word "revive" - no other posting, nothing. It really disrupted the new answers for a while. I thought it was going to be another Amazing Randy or that Stats guy. But it seems to have stopped.

I see what you mean. Maybe this IS what "yellow card" was for. I'll get that sorted soon. The note to the user can be things like "STOP REVIVING THREADS YOU COCKFARMER, or we'll lock you posting at all". useful hints like that.
