I really like that images are limited by resolution. I have a few ideas/critiques though:
1) Could we allow a slightly larger vertical dimension? Is it limited to 480 pixels now?
2) Could we have it bounce back, in the vein of the html syntax checker, to alert you if an image post is going to be transformed into a link?
3) Since we're already hitting the image hosting server when posting an image, would it be possible to set the HTTP referer to the thread's url when checking the image. This way it would be possible to structure to code to spot, and reject sites that block image hotlinking like tripod does.
