I checked the ip on the instances in ILM, and it's unique to that poster, whoever s/he is. I'm flooded w/repairs at work at the moment, but I'll most likely delete all the instances in ILM when I get in tonight, unless someone else already has. It seems to me to be a clear case of harassment, plus it seems to fall under the section of the faq on "spamming".

Basically Jon Williams has ruined ILX for a number of regular users, some of whom have now left. Whenever he is asked not to post countless huge images on a thread - or at least confine them to his own hilarious 'frat house' - he responds with insults and sarcasm. He shows no consideration for the other posters on this board, some of whom have been visiting ILX for a lot longer than he has. All this is in addition to the countless homophobic insults that Williams hurls at anyone who happens to like anything he considers 'faggoty'.

So in return, a number of us have decided to fuck up things for Jon Williams as much as we can. He deserves everything he gets.

ps I am a regular posting from a different computer than my normal one - you can ban this IP address or whatever, I won't be on this machine for much longer

so, let me get this straight, you think someone has ruined ilx through puerile behaviour, so your response is to ruin ilx through puerile behaviour. i think thats a little bit on the silly side, don't you. here's an alternative strategy, stop worrying and getting all upset. i dont think your machine should be banned, i dont think jons should be, i dont think 'randys' shold be, and i dont think this c2 guy should be either. unless we all want to validate whatever it is we consider bad behaviour?

Well, I used to do the same thing w/calum, but it doesn't work. Noise does not cancel noise, noise + noise = more noise = more annoyance. Turn image displaying off, and you may be surprised just how much more enjoyable ilx becomes. It works for me.

I hope "GFGDF" is only joking when he says that there are more than one regular ILXor behind Randy. If it is true, it has got to be stupidest thing I've witnessed here ever. "Getting even" like this is behaviour fitting for the playground, not for grown-ups. Especially since Jon has been acting reasonably well lately.
