Registration passcodes and Gmail

I was trying to register under my new gmail email address, and got the message that it had sent a passcode to my email. The passcode never showed up. So I tried to login and said I had forgotten my password, got the message that it had sent an email with my replacement passcode. That never showed up either. Any idea what's going on here?

I sent myself an email from my yahoo account and that showed up, so I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with gmail.

when i get back on to the server i will check this - but simple tests have worked registering with a yahoo address and a regular work address, so it might be some sort of "gmail intolerance" of the format of e-mail. have you tried registering with a different e-mail address?
