two ire threads that aren't visible but apparently aren't deleted

they haven't been moved to Thread Dump either. if i use the search function, i can find them, but there's no trace of them in the admin log or anywhere else that i can see. is this a deliberate move by the mods, is this a nu-code glitch? or something else?

not a mod action, as far as i know, and if it was, it would be in admin log.

ok they're both back now. not sure why that happened, but posting on the one that was missing seems to have brought it back. it is a mystery.

right, at the time, they were intact, but they weren't on the new answers or new questions pages. they are both on the new answers page now. this happened the other day when the stock market crash thread was started. it was on new answers for a few minutes, then it wasn't. it appeared again the next day.
