Bug in the avoiding new threads about old topics function

This should probably be posted in some kind of techn admin board rather than the mod request board, but it doesn't seem to be a category like that on ILX.

Whenever you post something with a header that looks a bit like something that has been posted before, you are being led through a page with old topics that it may fit into.

The idea is good, but there seems to be a bug in the script: If the title of the post contains a '-sign, then the script doesn't seem to read it properly and the header of the actual post looks corny. Look at the header of this topic, for instance: Codavita's new zombie music video (just in time for Halloween)

Are you aware of this bug, and is there any way to get it fixed?

And funny enough, I had to go through that "filter" too, which caused the same kind of bug in the first paragraph here :)
