it should just go to the email address you used to register for nuilx. chk your junk folder maybe?

ah - the thing is, i received an email from the ilx robot at my registration address, sent from an ILXOR. but when i hit reply, i got an autoreply that said to reply via the webmail? only, the ILXOR did not name themselves, but their email requested a reply.
sorry to be so clueless, does any of this make sense? thanks for your help john...

no, that makes sense. unfortunately, i don't know that there is a way to extract the sender info from the ilxbot, so i'm not sure i can pull up any info for you (privacy and so on).
i'll ponder this and check with some mods that are smarter than i am and get back to you with anything i come up with.

no worries - thanks again john!

The subject line of the email should tell you who sent it. To reply to them, find one of their posts, click on their name and then click the "send a webmail to this user" link.

Thanks stet! the subject line said the poster was ??? - but it all got sorted anyways...
cheers mods!

Yeah, stet, I got a webmail the other day and it said the poster was ??? also. Pretty sure it wasn't the same sender...
― WmC, Wednesday, 17 December 2008 15:02 (sixteen years ago)
is this possibly because it was from someone not using a display name? the webmails say they are from "display name" with "(username)" mentioned nowhere... so from someone like rock, who posts only as WmC and has no display name, the webmail would be from "???"?

easy answer to this guys: put the email you want people to reply to in the body of the message
Ha, wait. It was me. Stevie wants to be on 77. I was going to send an invite, but after I wrote that email, I figured out that I can't invite people to 77 anymore anyway.
So we all could really solve this problem by inviting stevie to 77. thank you and good night.

Also, I keep forgetting that Pleasant Plains doesn't show up. Just өөө, which doesn't always translate.

So if you want to send anonymous hate mail to ILXors, just change your display name to some Cyrillic bullshit or something.
HELLOZ I AM NOW AN ORDAINED FOLLOWER OF CRUTIS! TQ PP!!

When I try to send webmail after about 30 seconds I get "An error has occurred; please try again shortly." Little help?
