(Possible bug?) Problem with image-containing Polls with Show Images turned off

Hello. Not quite sure what's going on here, but if I look at this poll thread on ILM:
PIXIES Poll: The best track on Trompe le Monde

with images turned off in my ILX preferences, the first post just appears like this:

all on one line, so the text before the image, the poll options list and the post attribution have all disappeared.

I posted about it here -- which this is more or less a repost of -- and Tuomas said it's the same for him.

(Also I was logged out when I first clicked on an option to vote, and after the login page I got some kind of "unspecified error, try again in a minute" message which I've now lost, but I don't know if this is related or if I did something else wrong. Might've typed my password wrong, I often type my old ILX password in by mistake still)

(PS I'm using a slightly old version of Opera on XP, if that's of any relevance, but I've viewed source and the missing stuff really is missing, not just been eaten by an unclosed tag or anything)

These polls both have images in the starting thread and still work for me with Show Images off, so it's not just the image. I can't find anything else of the form [internal ILX link, text, image, poll] like the Pixies poll yet so maybe it's something about that combination which does it.

Oh! I thought it was just me having this problem.

I couldn't figure out the exact combo that caused it, but some polls go really funny for me. The poll options don't turn up, and the entire thread is contained in the blue poll options box.

oh yeah i just got this with the james murphy poll on ilm right now. and the same thing happens when i click on the pixies poll.

Definitely blaming the combination of link-image-poll for this now.

Here's another broken Pixies poll (not the one in the original post:

Both of these have a link, then an image, then the poll. In no-images mode, both get turned into the text before the link (if there is any), the linked image URL, and then the post timestamp; no other text, no poll, and missing the post attribution.

Maybe ILM thinks we should all shut up about the damn Pixies already, but the James Murphy poll Lex mentions is broken in the same way and is also link-image-poll, with a lot of extra bbcoded text in between. And the Pixies Doolittle poll works fine (just an image and a poll, no link).

There are a bunch of polls with image then poll but no links, and those seem to be fine (1 / 2 / 3 with added italics bbcode).

The Soul Jazz poll is an image and then a poll where all the poll options are links, and amazingly that's fine.

And link then poll but no images is fine too.

Oh yeah, the link in the James Murphy poll is non-ILX, so it's not just internal ILX links.

Well, that's killed a few minutes at work. Sorry for being longwinded again. Thanks for bothering to read this, if anyone does...

Too many URLs! I ballsed up one of the image-only poll links too but those ones aren't buggy so never mind.

Yeah this has been happening to me as well of late, only the last couple of days as far as I can tell.

Yep I get this too, was wondering why some polls seemed broken.
