a friend of mine tried to register yesterday morning but hasn't gotten a response w/ password. how long does it usually take? (it's been so long since i signed up i have no real memory of the process, which i imagine has changed a bit over the last few years.)

i just approved some so his may have been in there. the timing can vary, as it depends when a mod reviews the pending registrations.
