why do I get an error message when I try to start threads on sub boards like 1p3 and the noise board?

I admit that my threads aren't exactly publication quality, but I can't imagine that I'd be banned from threadstarting. I am able to start threads on the HTML playground, as you can see from this wacky test thread. strange — does anyone else have this problem?

I'd appreciate you guys's input, and I am, of course, your most humble and most obedient servent, etc.

...and I'm able to start threads on the moderator request forum as well. funny, that.

what's the message? sometimes non-letter characters will give you an error message if it's in a thread title. also if you can post on a board you can start a thread on it.

aw geez, I guess colons aren't allowed in the thread title. I = dumb, but thanks for the tip anyways.

also I pretty much lost interest in the colon-laden thread I was trying to start, so it's kind've a moot point anyways :-/
