Neighbour trouble

I am about ten seconds from losing my shit all over the place, and do not want to.

It's a pity because I was getting some good advice from Pash and others. Can someone please remove the personal attacks? Yes, you can include my "f you's", as well.

MIS Information (kate), Monday, 11 July 2005 12:17 (nineteen years ago) link

Please? Anyone? He's escalating.

Are any mods awake?

I am going to need the links on that thread, and am 30 seconds away from smashing my monitor.

MIS Information (kate), Monday, 11 July 2005 12:20 (nineteen years ago) link

it brings a little atmosphere to the discussion

"A little atmosphere" boggles the mind, really.

sorry I missed this; things seem to have cooled off though.

teeny (teeny), Monday, 11 July 2005 17:14 (nineteen years ago) link

damn, sorry it's stirred up again. i was actually trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, assuming he'd be humane enough to know whatever his history with Kate, so many others don't need to see that kind of hostility right now. so disappointed.

Kim (Kim), Wednesday, 13 July 2005 03:36 (nineteen years ago) link

You great humanitarian.

It's a real shame, but I think it would be better if the thread were just locked now. Please?

You'd think for once that even an asshole could show some ... sensitivity? ... and know when not to shoot their mouths off about "The English"?

I'm really sorry that our grief and upset interrupted his vandalistic rampaging, but I really can't cope with this right now.

I would lock it Kate but I can't - for whatever reason my admin powers don't include thread locks anymore :(

that whole "the british are lame" thing is hilarious though, you have to say.

I can never tell when you are joking or serious, ken!

You guys can't blame all of this on Jon. If Jon wasn't a designated forum punching bag that was seen as fair game by a good chunk of the more aggravateing, two-faced people on this forum, this situation wouldn't have spun out of control as badly as it did. (I am not referencing Kate here.)

Jon needs to grow up, yes. So do a large proportion of the people who scream at him.

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small,
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.
But everyday I am growing,
-I'll be grown up someday,
And all these tiny handprints
Will simply fade away.
So here's a final handprint
Just so you can recall,
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.
I love you!

Dan, if Jon did not act the way that he has and does, he wouldn't attract half any of the abuse that he does.

And that's the last I shall speak of it because I'm not feeding his self-induced martyr complex any further.

Kate, you made the thread ugly. The end.
