Let me start this by saying that I know I have a record of annoying "please delete this post about my relationship" requests. I hope that mods are not already rolling their eyes realizing this will be another one. Here we go:

In the wake of some type of shit that has had IRL consequences* I'm kinda doin some reevaluating of my posting history and really my entire presence here. I realize, with a year of hindsight, that I really regret the long slew of posts I made about an old girlfriend on Thread to Get Over A Breakup. The ex has already seen them, months upon months ago, so that damage has been done. But I'd rather that my long list of personal attacks--on someone who, tempestuous as the relationship was, didn't deserve a long list of personal attacks posted on the internet--no longer exist on the internet. And beyond that, I'd also rather my short-sightedness and gleeful mean-spiritedness wasn't a matter of permanent internet record.

I would not ask a mod to take on the tedious and essentially thankless labor of deleting a whole host of posts of mine. So here is what I propose: temporarily, for maybe half an hour, move the thread to 1p3. During this half hour I can load the whole thread and, working my way down, delete--solely--my offending posts.

This is the last major mod favor I will request as I intend to leave ILX soon after.
