not arguing, just saying

(to clarify: the votes get stored in a db table with totals going into another one and manipulating them would require someone logging into the db and manually editing them, and portions of that information may live in memory which would render them inaccessible without writing a poll-editing application)

Just register two sockpuppets and cast two votes for the thing you want to balance out the one that you think you screwed up.
