Read/unread dot gone all funny

Woke up this morning to see that a bunch of read threads with new stuff in them were marked with "unread/nothing new" black dot. Is this a known problem, or should I be looking out for invisible elves using my computer at night?

TWU: As was mentioned upthread, I believe this is a caching issue that happens whenever the server resets. There isn't anything for us to do and/or investigate.
