Is webmail broken?

When I click submit, it just goes to a blank page. I don't think my messages are being sent. I'm pretty sure I'm getting the captchas right, unless there's supposed to be a space between letters...

Not busted; I've gotten a couple of ilxmails today. No idea what the problem is, hopefully stet will see this. I'm going to move this thread from IMP to Mod Request Forum so he'll be more likely to.

Yup, if you're barred from any board you can't post mail. I don't think that should change (and it would be quite hard to, anyway).

I have this problem, too. I think it's because of Opera.

Iirc, a good while back a couple of site-banned users heckled and flamed some other users via ilx mail after they were banned, so we stopped banned users from mailing. The system can't distinguish between board bans and site bans at that level, so it applies universally.

I think I sent some webmails, got a blank page, and thought the lack of any kind of "your message has been sent" was just a "feature". Guess I didn't send some webmails!

Like Rev, I was probably using Opera at the time, and am not aware of being banned from a subboard (though I may be without knowing, of course).

Oh, I can email myself, and it works now (gives me the acknowledgement screen). Still using Opera 10.63, but I've had a bunch of problems with a previous version of Opera not loading pages.

hey can a mod unban tamtam from 1p3 -- i don't think sub mods can do that? or maybe we can and i can't figure it out. or maybe i can't do it cuz both me & rox banned him
