Strange thing happened to a thread that was being moved/renamed...

Thanks for moving that thread to ILM, and renaming it.

Odd thing, it seems to have picked up a random post from gr8080 which has nothing to do with the thread, and is presumably now missing from the thread it's supposed to be on.

I remember one time I posted on a thread which was in the process of being moved, and the message disappeared even though I got a success message. I guess this is the inverse of that.

It does, but it seems unlikely in this particular instance.

From what I can see Grady's post was there before the thread was moved. Posts don't just magically move from one thread to another.

Didn't notice it was in html playground, I just assumed it was accidentally put in ILE or something. Looks like Grady was just messing round on an inconsequential board.

Ah right, got it: he used the thread to test out formatting on his messg.
