i was referring at first to the fact that he posted the Scotch post in two different threads that had nothing to do with it, when I created this post.

He then created the Scotch thread, which lead me to believe the comments in the other two threads may have just been a mistake due to nonfamiliarity. think we can close this one out.

Rito - I'll explain - yes clearly the baby sandwich post was a reference to Swift - the mistaken posts were due to problems with the browser on my uni library cpus and as I made expressively clear, the question about Scots and 'scotch' was seeking clarification for a term milked for comic effect by a sub-mainstream stand up. Think this is well, well unfair...
