who is todd pinarchick and why did he buy me a mr. velcro fastener record?

i don't mind if ILXors know my real name now -- the thread was created during the earliest days of ILX when i wanted some anonymity and now a lot of ILXors do know that so it's kinda moot. but it wouldn't be a bad idea to de-index or googleproof it if you could.
