We DO have a thread lobbying for that board, it's called "I Like Daunte Culpepper"

I Love Sports is a bad idea because what will happen is what inevitably happens when sports intermingle with each other on various ILE threads, which is X sport's purist fans start getting bitchy towards the people who used some comparision or brought up Z sport.

This is kind of silly, looking at what boards we do have, that there has to be multiple threads lobbying for a perfectly sensible board.

Anyway the reason why a separate NFL board would be good is because

A) there are quite a few NFL fans on ILE but the threads tend to get lost in the shuffle of everything else. I have tried my best to keep reviving threads but often times people don't see them, and the comments or remarks will just bleed into other threads instead (for example several of the regional/city threads).
B) Like in the case of some of the other more specific boards, there are probably several lurkers or new people who would come in and be interested to post which I think is good.
C) I can finally achieve my dream of having an entire thread just to post pictures of hot quarterbacks, without jarring anyone on ILE.

But I do not know the process of going about doing this. I have brought up the idea before, on ILE (not on like some thread titled "LET'S HAVE AN NFL BOARD" or anything like that), and people seemed amenable!
