OK I didn't delete it last night, I just deleted it now.

It seems fairly obvious to me that unproved speculation of this nature on a fairly popular, fairly high profile message board like ilm is not cool, and asking for trouble. I have no idea if the allegation is true or not. If the guy gets arrested or something, then obviously it's OK to talk about it, but when it's speculation over something like this, I don't think so.
