Search function problem again?

I ask because it was noticed on this thread here:

That if you try to search for a separate follow-up thread from two days later using the name "Chris Whitley":

...the search function only shows the first thread. Any guesses?

unfortunately altho andrew has now made some notes on how to restart the slave server, the steps involved require an admin account (poss root, i dunno), and i am just a regular user. i have asked andrew to hand out more admin rights, but he's not responding.

a few times when i've searched recently i get a window popping up saying

which is a: PHP document
from: ilx.p3r.net"
