seriously stirring up some bad shit at a time where people's emotions are high, and it isn't fucking cool.

i agree that he can be irritating but i don't know if he has said anything that bad on that thread yet.

the one about being glad if martin punched zimmerman MIGHT be a little unnecessary. yes, i was in the moment. i had just finished talking about the case with floormates. i will grant that post as perhaps slightly, slightly troublesome. but, this neanderthal has some other vendetta against me.

and, martin is already dead. what good does a post like that do when i'm just drinking rum in my dorm. mookie and neanderthal made me feel bad about myself, which i didn't need.

it's merely that every post he's ever written is a desperate plea for attention. he has nothing to offer beyond that, and if no one notices, he'll just keep going. in most threads this process is just annoying; in this particular thread it was a bit more

boy_slayer, I swear it was nothing personal, nor do I have any vendetta against you (don't think I'd ever interacted w/ you prior to last night). And I apologize if I upset you.

I just felt the constant inciting you were doing in the thread wasn't in good faith. the nickname thing I didn't care about, it wasn't like you were posting as "George Zimmerman".

fwiw though, my emotions were running high too, and I'd just had a very ugly confrontation w/ someone over this minutes before, so I accept I was in a heightened state of frustration myself that may have led me to overreact.

How in gods name did you infer that from his posts saying he was angry at the verdict and wanted to scream to the sky about it? Hyperbolic and drunken yeah sure, but to be blunt dude you've been just as bad. Its not like he'd come in screaming that GZ was right to be let off and we're all reverse racists or some BS.

I've already apologized to boy_slayer (publically and privately), don't wish to restart this convo.

I will say I hope boy_slayer sticks around, but will understand if they don't want to.
