users if they wish to ban themselves for a set amount of time could perhaps reset their password, then delete the email with the new temporary password in it, and then they won't have to show up on the admin log at all.

iirc correctly, mods don't do self-bans anymore.

oh. well, i'll have to exercise a little self-restraint, then. and others can use this thread to talk about banh mi. it really is good stuff.

hey thanks, you all are really genuinely nice! but seriously, lately if i'm near a computer and my mind drifts for longer than 2-3 seconds, i find that my fingers automatically click and type a few things and somehow i'm staring at the ILX new answers page. that can't be healthy.

i looked at the other ban me threads and they all resulted in bans after about 2 minutes and a lock thread. i didn't want to make a goodbye thread.

so again, <3, but last post, starting...NOW

there are two banh mi places near my place that i go to on the reg. one is a grocery store that sells them for the unbelievable price of $2.25, the other is a legit vietnamese sandwich shop that sells them for $3.50. my roommates say the former is "sketchy" but i don't see the difference
