For some reason, in this post my username was replaced by my email address:

Not a big deal, but it certainly said "Paul Eater" in the Your Full Name box when I clicked Submit. Now I'm all spammable!

Oh thanks! I was posting more so the nice code maintainers knew about the weirdness rather than because I care so much about the address being exposed.

if you can hit on the combination of how you submitted the comment that led to the mixup then that would be of help yes plz - especially (though this is a utopian best-possible case) if you can get to the point where you can detail a recipe to make the mixup happen every time

Yeah, unfortunately I didn't do anything unusual that I can think of. Usual browser, setup, etc. I made another post on the same thread a short while later without any glitchery. I've never seen anything like it before or since.

I did adjust my user settings earlier in the day (bookmarked a new board) for the first time in a long time. I didn't touch my username or email settings though.

(Incidentally I would be happy to cast another pair of eyes over the site code if/when needed, to help optimize some queries or whathaveyou.)
