Thanks, Mom!

My mom just came by with a big box of my old comics that have been sitting in her basement for about 15 years. They're mostly in pretty rough shape, but I'm going to see if I can figure out how to cbr them.
Lots of Green Lanterns, ranging from the very late 70s to the first 10 or so issues of the G. Jones series.
Nearly all of the first 4 years of the Giffen/DeMatteis JLI (which is all cbred anyway).
The first year of the five-years-gap Legion!!!
L.E.G.I.O.N. '89 and '90. Some "New Titans" bullcrap. A good run of Hellblazer from probably around #25 through 60 or something.
A bunch of Ambush Bug Action issues. A couple years each of late 80s Batman and Superman titles.
MOUNTING EVIDENCE OF A SOLITARY CHILDHOOD WHICH HAS LED TO AN ANTISOCIAL ADULTHOOD.

Your mom is the best.

Your antisocial tendencies are pretty awesome too.

I think she just wants me to take all of my crap out of her basement. But, yeah, she's a sweetheart.

If you're into being birthed, I recommend Huk's mom. Although I guess that "free storage space with every birthing" offer is about to expire, so act now!

five months pass...
Was invited to dinner under false pretexts again yesterday. Came home with two big bags full of stuff from my teenage bedroom that has been in my parents' garage for ten yrs. Among: Both editions of the DC Heroes RPG, neither of which I ever actually played, because, um, NO FRIENDS HA HA HA.

I've still got the Marvel RPG somewhere.

I have the Games Workshop generic superheroes RPG from the early 80s. it's pretty good!

and it was actually a relic of my brother's antisocial childhood, not mine. so there.

I've got Underground and various supplements knocking round my house somewhere. For those who don't know it comes across as Marshal Law the RPG - very odd. I vaguely recall playing it sometime in the mid 90s.

Going through them last night, I realize that the sourcebooks were quite valuable to me in constructing my own DC-centric stories and fantasies, particularly the Night In Gotham module.
Also, the 88 refit had Watchmen!
