reading this will derail my entire day.

He's going to refer to the Crisis thang in GM's Animal Man, apparently. Am interested to know how he'll fit that in with his general continuity dorkiness.

Chuck_Tatum (Chuck_Tatum), Tuesday, 11 October 2005 14:35 (twenty years ago)

Grant Morrison is...The Monitor!
It's bleedin' obvious.

Stone Monkey (Stone Monkey), Tuesday, 11 October 2005 14:38 (twenty years ago)

We are all Anti-Monitors!

Huk-L (Huk-L), Tuesday, 11 October 2005 14:41 (twenty years ago)

GM as Mockingbird odds now SLASHED to 50-1.

Pete (Pete), Tuesday, 11 October 2005 14:42 (twenty years ago)

Hey Geoff, is it true that Animal Man is the Anti-Monitor? They have the same initials.

GJ: Thanks. I'm glad you like the Cowgirl character we've introduced in Green Lantern. Of course, she's not really a cowgirl. That's just her name. So is the new Anti-Monitor really an ANTI-MONITOR, or is that just his name? Stay tuned. We'll answer that question, and a lot more, by Infinite Crisis #2.

Huk-L (Huk-L), Tuesday, 11 October 2005 14:52 (twenty years ago)

How old is GJ?

Jordan (Jordan), Tuesday, 11 October 2005 15:00 (twenty years ago)

GJ: Thanks for your question, Jordan. I'm glad you're a fan of Stargirl. So am I. We'll see big things for Courtney after Infinite Crisis #2. I remember when I was working on Lethal Weapon 4, with Mel Gibson, and he asked me, "Do you think we'll ever see all three Hourmans in one comic?" Well, Jordan, we've already seen that in the build-up to Infinite Crisis, and all your questions should be answered by Infinite Crisis #2. Thanks for reading!

Geoff, I run a costume shop in Boston and after the recent WizardWorld the 'Red Bee' suit you ordered came back all stained and torn. Would you like to comment?

GJ: Infinite Crisis is a comic about relationships.

Note - the following is real:

Q: By the way Green Lantern Corps Recharge #1 was excellent. This is going to be my favorite DC title for a while I think. Always impressive to see a great gathering of Green Lanterns, old and new faces. Also would be nice a little Alan in there to mess around the Guardians idea of what a Green Lantern should be, as not all might want to be part of a team and might already be loyal to their old team.

GJ: I helped co-write #1 and #2 and plot the rest of the series but Dave Gibbons is going to take the book on solo when it launches monthly next year. Currently, there are no plans for Alan in Corps. He will be in the GL monthly next year.

Chuck_Tatum (Chuck_Tatum), Tuesday, 11 October 2005 17:26 (twenty years ago)

That's Geoff Johns of Earth-J, though, where everyone is still fighting the Cola Wars.

Huk-L (Huk-L), Tuesday, 11 October 2005 17:29 (twenty years ago)

Does he say that, about Animal Man? I thought further appearances of the Psycho Pirate has established that GM's run was all imaginary?

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 11 October 2005 17:41 (twenty years ago)

I didn't see him say anything about GM's appearance in Animal Man, but, um, Animal Man is one of the heroes recruited by Donna Troy (who remembers the Multiverse!!!) to go into space and "fix things", so who knows?
